Turkana Milk Pail 021

These vessels are made by the Turkana people in northwest Kenya and traditionally used for collecting and storing cow’s milk. Carved from a single piece of wood these antique vessels have a beautiful patina each with unique details; leather handles, fine engravings and metal patches are notable characteristics. 

Turkana Milk Pail 021 measures 22cm high x 9cm diameter at mouth and 10cm diameter at widest point.
