Turkana Milk Pail 007


These vessels are made by the Turkana people in northwest Kenya and traditionally used for collecting and storing cow’s milk. Carved from a single piece of wood these antique vessels have a beautiful patina each with unique details; leather handles, fine engravings and metal patches are notable characteristics. 

Turkana Milk Pail 007 measures 32cm high x 13cm diameter at mouth x 18cm at widest point.
