Makenge Baskets are handwoven from the root of the African Makenge bush in a remote village in the western province of Zambia. Traditionally used for storing and carrying grain, these particular baskets are newer in comparison to the vintage Makenge baskets available, with little sign of age.

Each one varies slightly in shape and colour.
