Based in Milan, The Home Textile Emporium of Lisa Corti is known for its colourful and vibrant fabrics for the home. Each collection is designed in Italy and produced in India by specialised artisans, where every single stage of the production is closely monitored — from the weaving and dying of the cotton through to the manual printing of the fabric using the ancient block print technique.
Her work is steeped in Italian aesthetic and true to Italian traditions, the cotton cloths ‘mezzeri’ are made to be used both decoratively and practically throughout the home. This screen-printed collection features the Nizam flower, reminiscent of French Aubusson carpets, set against light blue and cream stripes inspired by Persian miniatures. Each piece, bordered in delicate yellow, exudes unique, subtle charm.
