These black and natural baskets are handwoven in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The technique and weaving is traditional Zulu, where strips of natural palm fibre are coiled then woven to form the basket. The flat based, simple shape works nicely as a wastepaper basket or decoration in any room.
