An antique Hehe stool from Tanzania, circa 1960's. This beautifully crafted stool is handcrafted by the Hehe people of Tanzania. These simple three legged stools are hand-carved from a single piece of hardwood, although elegant and unique in its shape and form, these stools are considered everyday objects, and often used in important cultural ceremonies.
