Monastery 'Lapiz' Matte Body Oil

Italian squalane, made from olives, is the base of this lightweight body oil - an ingredient that is loved because it’s extremely fast to absorb, but still hydrates and nourishes the skin. Gingergrass, grapefruit, and peppercorn combine to create an energizing, stimulating aroma. 

Founded in San Francisco, California, by master esthetician, Athena Hewett, Monastery was born out of Athena’s experience in working with clients whose conditions continued to worsen with the use of skincare products. Athena found that many products were continually irritating the skin, rather than working with the skins natural in-built repair and rejuvenation system. Her vision was to create a line of natural cleansing and moisturising skincare products to repair, heal and nourish. The range of Monastery products are formulated to work with the skins powerful system and utilise the natural healing properties of the best possible ingredients. Made in small batches, every product is carefully crafted in-house by hand at Monastery headquarters, California.
