A traditional, antique chair from the Makonde people in southeast Tanzania. This solid wooden chair is hand carved from one piece of hard wood, made in an upright style with a simple design into the back rest featuring three sculpted legs and unique vertical support brace, which is unique to this style of chair.
Measures roughly 41cm wide x 50cm deep x 83cm high.
