Nupe Stool 006

A Nupe stool from Nigeria, circa 1980's. This beautifully crafted Nupe Stool is made by the Nupe people of Nigeria. 

The Nupe people are highly regarded for their abstract stools, characterised by multiple legs and fine geometric carvings on top. 

Carved from a single block of wood, this stool features 8 legs and an intricate geometric pattern on the top with a rich glossy patina.

This stools shows signs of use, imperfections are part of its age and character. 

Nupe Stool 006 measures 38cm and 31cm tall.
