Established by Cecilio Valgañón, Mantas Ezcaray is a family business based in Ezcaray, La Rioja, Spain. Mastering the craft of textile production and the weaving of luxurious blankets since 1930, each product in their collection has been carefully crafted by a skilled and expert artisan using both premium and natural fibres. With the incorporation of mohair added to their designs in the 1950s, it’s since marked their journey, keeping the vision of Cecilio Valgañón alive to this present day.

Characterised by its whiteness, brightness and silkiness, Mohair is one of the most luxurious and exclusive fibres in the world. Sourced from the Angora goat, the fibre allows for both vivid and long-lasting colours. Mohair is also thermo-regulating, known to adapt well to body temperature.
