Indergarten, Yellow Nose Studio

INDERGARTEN is the first monographic publication by Taiwanese design duo Yellow Nose Studio, a studio dedicated to embodying the principles of slow living by creating funcgional objects that elevate our everyday spaces. Based in Berlin, the studio seeks to find harmony within space through the craft of handmade pieces — transforming the organic into functional art.  

The slender hardbound title portrays a concise arrangement of seating objects and vases, emphasising the duo’s fluid practice between design, craft, art, and architecture. Ten variations on three wooden shapes – a circle, a square, and a rectangle – form the foundation of Yellow Nose Studio’s INDERGARTEN series. True to the spirit of simplification, Yellow Nose Studio has dropped the ‘K’ from the word ‘Kindergarten,’ opening a space of possibility guided by playfulness and curiosity
