These antique head-rests are hand carved from wood by the Turkana people in northwest Kenya, using traditional tools and indigenous trees. A small leather strap and metal details are common, they are smooth with little decorative detail. Traditionally used as a pillow this beautiful object is a collectable artifact.
Each one is unique, measures approx 22cm high.
