Tonga Stool - 021


These small wooden stools are made by the Tonga people of Zimbabwe and southern Zambia. Hand-carved from one piece of solid wood they are commonly found throughout households in rural villages. With unique geometric designs these stools are a status symbol for the elderly and have been traded across the globe for centuries.

Tonga Stool 021 measures 23cm wide at top x 18.5cm wide at base x 20cm tall.
