Gowke Basket

These small baskets are hand woven in the Gowke district of north-west Zimbabwe by the Tanga people. Made from ilala palm and naturally dyed, these lightweight baskets are traditionally used for winnowing grain.
Each one unique, measures approx 25cm diameter x 3cm high.
