Turkana Milk Pail 004
These vessels are made by the Turkana people in northwest Kenya and traditionally used for collecting and storing cow’s milk. Carved from a single piece of wood these antique vessels have a beautiful patina each with unique details; leather handles, fine engravings and metal patches are notable characteristics.
Turkana Milk Pail 004 measures approx 33cm high x 11cm wide at top.
(Please note this vessel has trouble standing alone as the base is uneven).
